His Lordship belongs to the hilarious fantasy/steampunk/paranormal romance/Victorian-vampires-and-werewolves-thingy novel Soulless by Gail Carriger. A novel which, among other things, makes you realize the importance of parasols if you're attacked by a bad-mannered vampire during a ball.

I love this. Just started reading the first book a couple day ago and am nearly finished with it, the book series is absolutely now one of my favourites.
Lord Akeldama is by far the best characters in the series for me.
